City Church desires to co-labor and journey with those in the church community who are struggling to free themselves from alcohol and drugs or other bad habits or hang ups - as well as those who are in need of support in reconstructing their lives through:
In Matthew 28:18—20, Jesus told us the goal of all this was “to make disciples.” It is our hope that those who are deeper in faith of Christ, will reach out to those who are not yet strong in theirs. If we all gave of ourselves to a few people, we could one day, “turn the world upside down.” (Acts17:6). This is how Jesus did it.
... To love and serve God by loving and serving broken people"For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat. I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me…I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me." Matthew 25:35-40
